Purchase a VPS

Purchase a VPS

An Ultra.sh VPS is a cloud server with dedicated RAM, AMD CPUs, and root access. This guide explains how to purchase a VPS, from selecting a plan and location to completing the checkout and opening your new VPS.

Important: When you use up your traffic allowance, the connection drops to 10 Mbps until the allowance resets on the 1st. There are no overage fees.

Select a Plan

  • Go to the Ultra.sh website.
  • Select the 1 USD or EUR currency to show prices in.
  • Choose a plan from the Plans section. Every plan includes DDoS protection, dedicated RAM, root access, and an IPv4 address.
  • Click the 2 Deploy button of the plan you want.

Configure the VPS

  • Confirm that the monthly option is selected in the 1 Choose billing cycle drop-down.
  • Select the 2 Location you want the VPS to be in. You cannot select a location marked Not available.
  • Select the operating system in the 3 Image drop-down.
  • Set the 4 Additional IPv4 Addresses slider if you need more than the included IPv4 address. You can add up to 3 addresses, at $2 USD or €2 EUR each.
  • Paste your SSH public key into the 5 SSH public key field, one key per line. This field is optional. If you leave it empty, your first visit to the panel asks you to generate a root password and it turns on password login.
  • Click the 6 Continue button.

Head to Checkout

  • Review the plan and options on the Review & checkout page.
  • Click Edit if you need to change an option.
  • Enter your code in the 1 promo code field on the Apply promo code tab, if you have one.
  • Click the 2 Validate code button to apply the code.
  • Click the 3 Checkout button.

Complete the Checkout

  • Click the 1 Already registered? button if you already have an account.
  • Enter your Email address and Password, then click Sign in to log in to your existing account.
  • Enter your personal information, billing address, and a password if you do not have an account. The checkout page shows the new account form by default.

  • Select the 1 Stripe payment method.
  • Enter your card details.
  • Select Save this card for future payments if you want to reuse the card. This step is optional.
  • Turn on the Join our mailing list toggle if you want product news and offers by email. The toggle is off by default.
  • Select the 2 I have read and agree to the Terms of service checkbox. You can read the Ultra.sh Terms of Service before you agree.
  • Click the 3 Complete order button.

Access the VPS

  • Wait for the Order confirmation page. It shows your order number, and you receive a confirmation email.
  • Click the 1 View service overview button to open your VPS. To go to the client area instead, click the 2 Continue to client area button.

  • Check the status of your VPS on the service overview. The status shows Pending while the VPS is being set up.
  • Click Refresh to check the status again. Click Contact support if your VPS is still not linked to a server.
  • Follow the link in the verification email to verify your email address.
  • Log in to the client area with the email address and password you entered at checkout. Your account is created during the ordering process, so you do not need to register separately.
