Understand Support Scope

Early Access: Ultra.sh is currently in early access. Features, plans, and documentation may change as we continue to improve the service. If anything here does not match what you see, open a support ticket and let us know.

Understand Support Scope

Ultra.sh provides self-service, unmanaged VPS hosting. We maintain the infrastructure that runs your virtual private server (VPS). You manage the operating system and software inside it. This guide explains what support covers and when to contact us.

Understand Unmanaged Hosting

An unmanaged VPS gives you control over your own server environment. That control also makes you responsible for configuring, maintaining, and securing it. Ultra.sh support focuses on the hosting platform and underlying infrastructure rather than administering your individual server.

Know What We Handle

  • Physical hardware: The host servers and storage infrastructure that run your VPS, including hardware failures and replacements.
  • Provider network: The network infrastructure operated by Ultra.sh and connectivity problems within that infrastructure.
  • Virtualization layer: The hypervisor that runs the VPS and platform faults that prevent it from operating correctly.
  • Hosting platform: Problems with VPS provisioning or the customer-facing management panel.
  • Account and billing: Client area access issues, invoices, payments, and billing questions.

For technical platform issues, support may need to refer the investigation to the appropriate infrastructure or development team. Reporting a problem does not mean support will administer the software inside your VPS.

Know What You Handle

  • Operating system: Configuration, updates, software maintenance, and troubleshooting inside your VPS.
  • Applications: Installing, configuring, updating, and troubleshooting web servers, databases, containers, game servers, and other software you choose to run.
  • Server configuration: Users, permissions, firewall rules, SSH settings, and other guest operating-system settings.
  • Security: Protecting your server credentials, keeping software patched, restricting access, and responding to compromises inside your VPS.
  • Data protection: Maintaining backups appropriate for your needs and checking that you can restore them. Do not assume that a recovery option is included unless your service explicitly provides it.
  • External services: Configuration and problems with third-party applications, DNS providers, remote services, and networks outside Ultra.sh’s control.

Identify the Type of Problem

Example
Support boundary
A paid VPS fails to provision or is missing from the panel
Contact Ultra.sh support with the service, order, and invoice details
A panel action returns an error or does not complete
Contact Ultra.sh support with the action, error, and time
A host hardware, provider network, or hypervisor fault affects the VPS
Ultra.sh investigates the underlying infrastructure
The VPS is running, but an application crashes or will not start
You troubleshoot the application and its dependencies
A firewall or SSH configuration change blocks access
You recover access and correct the operating-system configuration
A package update or custom configuration breaks the operating system
You maintain and repair the operating system
An invoice, payment, or client area login is incorrect
Contact Ultra.sh support

A connection failure alone does not establish who is responsible. It can result from the provider network, your local connection, a stopped VPS, or settings inside the VPS. If you suspect an infrastructure fault, report the symptoms and the checks you completed.

Check Before Contacting Support

  • Review the relevant Ultra.sh documentation for the client area or panel workflow.
  • Confirm that you selected the correct VPS and check its state in the panel.
  • Note whether the problem affects the entire VPS or only one application.
  • Review recent changes to the operating system, firewall, SSH configuration, or application.
  • Collect the exact error message and the time the issue occurred.
  • Do not reinstall the VPS as a routine troubleshooting step. A reinstall erases all data on the VPS, so preserve anything you need before using destructive recovery actions.
