Pay an Overdue Invoice

This guide explains how to pay an overdue invoice on your account. It covers when an unpaid invoice can lead to suspension, where to find unpaid invoices, how to review the total amount due, and how to pay by card through Stripe.

Avoid Suspension and Data Loss

  • Renewal invoices are normally sent 10 days before the due date. Pay on time, even if you do not receive a reminder.
  • If an invoice is still unpaid at the end of its due date, your VPS may be suspended. The due date ends at midnight UTC, not at midnight in your local time.
  • If the invoice is still unpaid at the end of the fifth calendar day after the due date, your VPS may be terminated and its data permanently deleted.
  • For example, for an invoice due on June 1, suspension may start at 00:00 UTC on June 2, and termination and data deletion may start at 00:00 UTC on June 7.
  • Paying after your VPS is terminated does not guarantee that the VPS, its IP address, or its data can be restored.
  • The Terms of Service set out the full billing rules.
