Early Access: Ultra.sh is currently in early access. Features, plans, and documentation may change as we continue to improve the service. If anything here does not match what you see, open a support ticket and let us know.
Navigate the Panel
The Ultra.sh panel is where you manage your VPS after signing in. This guide tours the pages you will use most: a server's Overview and Settings tabs. For help signing in, see Access the Panel.
- Sign in to the panel and select your VPS from the Servers list.
- Selecting a server opens its Overview tab. Use the Settings tab above it to reach the other pages covered below.
Overview
The Overview tab is the landing page for a server and shows its current state.
- Check the STATE field in the stat row to see if the server is Running or Stopped.
- Use the Start, Restart, Force stop, or Shut down buttons at the top right to control power. See Start, Stop, or Restart a VPS.
- Find the Network section for the VPS's IP address.
- Check the Bandwidth card for the percentage and amount of your monthly traffic allowance used. See Monitor Traffic Usage.
- Use the Console section to open a browser-based terminal without SSH. See Access the Console.
To connect from your own terminal instead, see Connect to a VPS via SSH.
Settings
The Settings tab is split into four tabs: General, Hardware, Network, and Security.
General
- Under Server settings, edit the Display name, the label your server shows in the panel, and the Hostname, the name the server knows itself by. See Change the Hostname or Nameservers.
- Use the Reinstall server section to wipe the VPS and install a new image. See Reinstall a VPS before using it, as reinstalling erases all data on the VPS.
Hardware
- View the CPU, RAM, and disk allocated to your plan.
- Check BANDWIDTH USED and BANDWIDTH ALLOTTED for your monthly traffic allowance. See Monitor Traffic Usage.
Network
- Under Nameservers, click Add and enter the IP address of the DNS resolver you want the server to use, for example
1.1.1.1for Cloudflare. - Click Save. See Change the Hostname or Nameservers.
Security
- Click Reset root password to generate a new one. It is shown only once, so save it right away. See Reset the Root Password.
- Add or remove SSH keys for root login. See Manage SSH Keys.
- Turn Password login over SSH on or off to control whether the root password can log in over SSH.
